OBJECTIVE:

1. Adopt the Alumni Association Core Values of excellence, lifelong relationships and learning, inclusiveness and diversity, global citizenship, advocacy and Dhaanish Ahmed

Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) have been identified as the two most backward groups of Indian Society. They include all the castes, races or tribes, which have been socially, economically and educationally backward. The cell has been established to support and to bring students from such communities in the main stream. The SC/ST cell of the college was established with the purpose to empower the SC/ST students in the college. The college takes special interest in facilitating academic performance and financial support to students from government agencies and other sources. They are also encouraged to enrol for career orientation programs, which would equip them with the necessary skills to choose a career option. The cell is also focused on monitoring the strict implementation of reservation policy as per UGC guidelines.

Objectives:

• To counsel and guide SC/ ST students and help them to manage academic and personal issues of college life effectively.
• To ensure provisions of an environment where all such students feel safe and secure.
• To provide prompt counselling for any emotional emergencies arising on account of any event at the campus.
• To provide the mechanism to redress the grievance of SC/ST students, if any.
• To ensure protection and reservation as provided in the constitution of India.
• To arrange for special opportunities to enhance the carrier growth.
• To aware of the SC/ST students regarding various scholarships program of State Govt. And Central Govt.
• To take such follow-up measures to achieve the objectives and targets laid down by the Govt. Of India and the UGC.
• To integrate and promote the students who belong to OBC/SC and ST community at Par with the main stream student body.
• To create a platform where students can point out their problems, regarding academic and non academic matters.

Minority cell is committed to provide an environment that supports diversity, respect everyone regardless of religious belief, ensure protection of everyone including minorities and act as per the provisions of constitution of India in such matters.

OBJECTIVES:

• To ensure provisions for an environment where all such students feel safe and secure.
• To empower the faculty and students belong to minority and other backward communities (OBC).
• To handle the issues and short and long-term needs of the minorities and OBC..

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Minority and OBC cell helps students and faculty belong to minority religion including Christian, Muslim, Jain etc. and OBC for their spiritual requirement and academic development.
• To provide the facilities for Namaz for Islam faculty and students in the college campus.

This cell’s primary goal is to instill in students a culture of entrepreneurship. This cell’s activities are aimed at encouraging students to participate in the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), improve their skill sets, and increase their chances of working for themselves. The cell looks for young people who have the potential to be entrepreneurs and works to develop them through training and education

To enhance Industry – Institute Interaction following activities are undertaken throughout the year:

In order to ensure due compliance of the orders of reservation issued from time to time in favour of Other Backward Class and to ensure prompt disposal of the Grievances of the employees of OBC Category, this OBC Cell has been established.The affairs of Other Backward Class students and staff of the institution. OBC Cell was established on in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission. The OBC Cell of the college creates a living and working environment where all employees and students belonging to the community should feel safe and respected. The institution is committed to provide an environment that promotes diversity and respects everyone regardless of colour, religious belief, caste, creed or cultures. In order to ensure due compliance of the orders of reservation issued from time to time in favour of OBC from government and universities. The college takes special interest in facilitating financial support to students from government agencies and other sources. And the cell is always engaged to solve the various problems of OBC students.

OBJECTIVE:

• To implement, monitor and evaluate continuously the reservation policy in University and plan measures for ensuring effective implementation of the policy and programmes of the Government of India and UGC.
• To educate, enlighten and empower the students and staff of OBC categories in the university to make use of the facilities extended by the Govt. and other agencies for their educational & occupational career.
• To collect data regarding the implementation of the policies in respect of admissions, appointments to teaching and non-teaching positions in the universities and analyze the data showing the trends and changes towards fulfilling the required quota.

FUNCTIONS:

• To circulate the orders and other circulars issued by the University/ Government of India and UGC (University Grant Commission) and to collect regularly, on an annual basis, information regarding course-wise admission of candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes in the University in prescribed form within the stipulated date, and to take follow-up action, wherever required.
• To circulate the orders and other circulars issued by Government of India and University Grants Commission’s decisions in respect of appointment and promotion for teaching and non-teaching posts in the University in suitable forms by a stipulated date and take follow up action wherever required.
• To collect reports, orders and information issued by Government of India and the UGC on the various aspects of Education, Training and Employment of other Backward Classes candidates for evolving new Policies or modifying existing policies.

• To analyses information so collected and prepare reports and digests for onward transaction to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, University Grant Commission and such other authorities as may be required.
• To monitor the working of the remedial Coaching Scheme in the University for OBC students, including Minorities students.
• To co-ordinate through university with Govt. (State & Central), UGC and such other organizations to get Scholarship/freeship/other financial benefits for OBC & minority students.
• To deal with representations received from Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Minorities Candidates regarding their admission, Scholarships, Recruitment, Promotion and other similar matters in the University.
• To maintain a database of candidates belonging to OBC.
• Any other works assigned by the University from time to promote higher education among OBC students and staff.
• The OBC Cell will exclusively look after the work related to the OBC.
• To ensure provisions for an environment where all such students feel safe and secure.
• To provide prompt counseling for any emotional emergencies arising on account of any events at the campus.

Dhaanish Ahmed Institute of Technology is listed as Local Chapter for NPTEL since 08^th July 2022. The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) was initiated by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati and Roorkee) in accordance with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Various Courses related to core disciplines are adopted for the benefit of Students and Faculty members.

SWAYAM is a technical educational programme launch by Indian government and plotted to achieve advanced Learning Policy. The goal of this initiative activity is to adopt the best teaching learning resources to all. SWAYAM brings the digital revolution and knowledge economy. In order to encourage our students to participate in this technical activity, we are setting up NPTEL Local chapter with the approval of management, under the headship of Head of Institution and a faculty member, who act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC)

The Eco Club of Dhaanish iTech aims to promote environmental awareness, sound environmental behavior and best practice amongst its member Associations to contribute for improving environmental conditions and also put forward programs & activities to encourage others to be part in environmental conservation, plant trees, reduce pollution, greening of the campus, the segregation of dry and wet waste, the minimizing the use of plastic, putting up appropriate signage for the edification of students.

Eco Club is a platform which promotes the participation of students in learning about environment, and improving their environment. It plays a vital role in encouraging and enhancing people’s participation in activities intended at conservation, protection and management of the environment, essential for achieving sustainable development of society and as well as nation.

The primary goal of the D’Land Polyptch Fine Arts Club is to stimulate students’ creativity and help them become more imaginative in their entertainment. Students’ leadership skills are developed through fine arts. Students will be able to use two- and three-dimensional visual art forms to convey their ideas, emotions, and creativity. They are able to precisely and clearly frame questions and answers based on pertinent data and research, arrive at well-reasoned conclusions and solutions, and successfully communicate ideas in tangible form. Students understand that the way a piece of art is presented, whether through exhibition or otherwise, affects its meaning and are adept at creating creative form utilising techniques and approaches appropriate for the desired outcome.

Objective:

• To support students’ identities and to develop and nurture their potential in a variety of artistic and craft mediums.
• To boost a student’s self-esteem by giving them a platform to exhibit their artwork.
• To provide them a chance to hone their artistic and artisanal abilities.

Electoral Literacy Club aim to sensitize the student on electoral rights, voter registration and election process. The activities of the club include collecting student’s data for applying new voter id, mock polling activity, poster design, drawing, seminar and conducting opinion polls related to voter right. It is promote “Right to vote” and “the power to vote”

Objectives:

• To create awareness among the students about the importance of voting.
• To ensure all the students above the age of 18 years are enrolled as voters with voter iD.
• To create awareness among the first year UG students to enroll in voters list.
• Arrange interesting activities to enroll voters list.
• Invite the experts to sensitize the students to learn electoral rights

Function of Electoral Literacy Club:

• To create awareness about the voting system and the importance of voting during elections and make the students realize the responsibility of a citizen.
• To conduct Rallies, Special lectures and various competitions to motivate our students for voting.
• To conduct Special camps for the students for new enrolments.

Yoga club helps to spread awareness of the benefits of Yoga among students and faculty members. The club organises a variety of Yoga activities for students and staff members to attain a higher level of consciousness of Yoga Education. We actively practise Yoga principles and seek a ray of wisdom that brings true happiness and inner peace.

Objectives:

• To spread the awareness about the benefits of yoga in life
• To teach the habit of meditation in youngsters so that they might experience more mental clarity and self-awareness.
• To give good health and wellness to the students.
• To improves posture, balance, control etc.

Students can better realize their scientific aspirations and complete their quests in science clubs and societies, which provide chances beyond the academic framework. The main goal of the activities is to get pupils interested in science and technology ideas. Students are assisted in their exploration of the various fields of science by the Science Club. Any student is welcome to join the club. The Science Club’s mission is to increase college students’ and the community’s interest in, comprehension of, and knowledge of the scientific world.

There should be a scope of learning beyond class room confinement to widen the knowledge of students and to provide exposure for real life problems relating to society. This is can be done by the establishment of Mathematics Clubs. A good teacher can involve his students in a number of co-curricular activities. Among them, mathematics club is also are to create interest and maintaining interest in mathematics using the structures be encouraged.. Certain activities like concept description by using models, understanding of problems with different views by using Mathematical software’s, discussions, lectures, certain mathematical games can be arranged. Overall this is the need of the hour to help students in having an idea of the practical utility of mathematics in addition to creating their interest in mathematics.

The ever changing world expects a person should have multi disciplinary skills to meet
the needs of industry and society. To attain this education and skill should go up hand in hand
to empower students and development of individual. So Dhaanish Ahmed Institute of
Technology has established skill development cell to upgrade the skill of students to the global
standard through various programmes and training along with curriculum for quality
assurance.

The Cyber security Club in our college envisions cultivating a dynamic community of passionate individuals dedicated to advancing cyber security knowledge and skills. Through collaborative learning, hands-on experiences, and ethical hacking initiatives, we aim to empower members to become adept defenders and leaders in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

The Rider and Robotics Club (RRC) at Dhaanish Ahmed Institute of Technology are to enhance student’s skills and knowledge towards robotics by providing hands on training. To provide Opportunities to interested students to express their design thinking, programming and construction of robots.

• To facilitate students to understand, design and learn Robotics.
• Provide interested students with opportunities to express their skills, knowledge, and creativity through conceptualizing, designing, and programming robots.
• To supplement students with real-time training skills on advanced technologies, which will make them stand out in the global arena.

Fostering students’ comprehension of photography’s diverse components and empowering them to employ these elements as tools for communication and documentation is paramount

The aim of designer club is to create opportunities to bring out the hidden talents of the students which are often suppressed due to lack of time. It also enables students to develop the unrecognized skills in them to a level where the student believes to turn out a creation of one’s own. The club enables students to interact with people who have caved a path in the field of designing.  In addition to that, the club focuses on promoting the creativity skills of students related to poster designing, pen sketch drawings. The club envisions being a suitable platform for various skills in designing which can ensure the growth of students in the path of creativity and entrepreneurship.
