AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR ADOLESCENCENT GIRLS

Dhaanish Ahmed Institute of   Technology arranged a safety and awareness program for girls in seminar hall (on 17.11.21 at 3.30 pm) which is the need of the hour for current society.  Women have landed on the Moon, walked in space, been elected as Heads of States, they have proved themselves equal to men in every way, Yet they are not safe in their own immediate surroundings. So the situation needs to be addressed and taking a step forward to the safety of girls and women. Aggression and assault is a women’s reality, crime against girls and women is a daily occurrence, age, class, and qualification hold no significance. The sad reality is that we live in an increasingly violent society in which the fear of crime for girls is ever present. Personal safety has become an issue of importance for everyone, especially women and girls. In this program all the girl students were instructed about the strange happenings of girls everywhere. At the same time they were advised that how to be cautious in decent clothing and safety mobile usage( minimizing the time investing the social media, DP, un necessary   pictures sharing, stay away from  free mixing of two genders etc). All the girl students were instructed how to be safe and protect their selves from the weeds. The program was winded up with the words-self morality and was highlighted which is very essential for safety.
